Congratulations to W Bro T A Reece and W Bro A J Reece
Every year, Freemasons in West Yorkshire celebrate together at a large meeting held at the Harrogate Royal Hall. Led by the Provincial Grand Master, charity donations are given out, and Freemasons are honoured with appointments or promotions, depending on their length of service to the Craft and duties undertaken.
On Tuesday 7 May 2019, a special moment occurred for Beacon Lodge No 4066, when father and son W Bro A J Reece and W Bro T A Reece were honoured within the Province of Yorkshire, West Riding.
W Bro A J Reece was promoted to Past Provincial Grand Registrar, whilst W Bro T A Reece was appointed to the office of Provincial Grand Steward, an office he will hold for a year. This entitles them to use the following titles when being addressed masonically:

It takes between 12-17 years of service to Freemasonry before being honoured in Provincial Grand Lodge, so it is certainly more of a marathon and not a sprint!
